Children's Museum & Rotary eClub Charter Celebration & Service Projects

On August 9, 2004, at our Rotary eClub NY1 Charter Celebration, the 7 Charter members were presented with their Charter and Rotary pins by D7150 PDG Ives & Dist Governor Austin at a noon luncheon. Former Astronaut Mike McCulley, CEO of United Space Alliance, keynote speaker, was introduced by Congressman Sherry Boehlert, Chairman of the House Science Committee. He presented an exhibit and donation to Museum Director/eClub President Marlene Brown for a Mission Control Center for kids.

That project will enhance our Rotary Resource Room (our eClub Centennial Project) already created and in use. Upcoming projects include (in conjuntion with our History/Culture exhibits) a network of computers with information about the various cultures in our community and around the world (to promote better understanding and world peace).
